Genes are a tricky thing and 1 of the best traits my daughter and I inherited from our ancestors is hair. We have a LOT of it and when it's styled it's awesome. And when it's not styled it's frizzy, half straight, half wavy, and all around wild. Typically, "wild" is how my daughter likes it best.
For her baptism day I french braided it down the back for the impending dump. Afterwards, we combed it out (the entire center was dry because she has so much hair the water didn't even touch passed the first outside inch) and I put it in a low side pony. I used a "donut" to wrap it up into a bun, and then I tied a wide white ribbon into a bow around the bun. It's the best I could come up with.
